Tungsten-copper (silver) composite materials

Tungsten and molybdenum are widely used in industries such as electronics and energy due to their high melting points, excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, high density and strength, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, good machinability, and environmental recyclability.

Classification:
  • Product Description
  • Tungsten-copper (silver) composite materials
Tungsten-copper alloys combine some advantages of tungsten and copper, such as high temperature resistance, arc erosion resistance, high strength, high density, good thermal conductivity at the melting point, low thermal expansion, ease of machining, and sweating cooling properties. They are widely used in industries such as machinery, electricity, electronics, metallurgy, and aerospace. Tungsten-copper products contain 7-50% (by weight) copper.

Tungsten electrode, it is made of tungsten electrode which has high melting point, corrosion resistance, high density, good thermal and electrical conductivity material. Tungsten electrode is widely used for welding in its properties. Tungsten electrodes are ground or polished and black rod. Their final colors are different and differences can be discerned. In tungsten electrodes, more importantly, the tungsten content also varies depending on their final color. When welding, choosing the right tungsten electrode makes welding easier and it is important to get a high quality weld. Some important factors to consider to make the right choice are the power source (inverter or transformer), the type of welding material (steel, aluminum or stainless steel) and the thickness of the material.
